Rita and Raj’s wedding was one we were looking forward to photographing since the Engagement Shoot (click here to see some pics from the E-shoot), they’re a gorgeous couple and were up for anything.

On the wedding day we started early with the portraits of the bride at Mississauga Convention Centre. Rita was awesome to photograph she has no trouble showing who she really is in front of the camera.

It’s always important to get family pictures on the day. These are some of the most cherished by both sides.

Raj’s Barat was a huge party in itself. So much family came from Tennessee in 2 coaches and they were just ready to party from the second they got off those buses. Raj started on a horse and carriage with dhol (traditional indian drum) players and a bagpiper followed by being carried into the banquet hall.

After they got changed we took some shots at the Mississauga Civic Centre and then headed back to Mississauga Convention Centre.

Just a quick preview from yesterday’s wedding. Hilda is always smiling especially around Abel. Here’s a shot from Scarborough’s Guildwood Park. I was so happy it turned out to be a nice day. I loved her 10foot long veil. Here’s the shot.

Here’s a long awaited post. The wedding took place on September 6th, 2009 at Red Rose Convention Centre. It was a beautiful ceremony and we captured so many great images. Deepa and Sameer are an awesome couple and we wish them the best in their new life together.

I wanted to talk about this series of images. Deepa is waiting to walk into the Mandap (altar) and as she’s waiting we see this powerful woman looking a little nervously down at the flower garland. She looks out towards the doorway to the Mandap. Looks back down and we see the joy of her realization that she’s finally getting married to the man she loves. I Love it.

This is Charlie Toor and Sharon Baksh The thing I LOVE about these two is they are themselves completely in front of me which allows me to get some of my favourite shots from the summer. The wedding was at GURSIKH SABHA GURDWARA more commonly known as Scarborugh Gurdwara. The lighting in the Gurdwara made for some really cool shots from a beautiful ceremony.

For the reception rather than going to a park we took shots at and around their hotel in Oakville. My favourite shot is probably the one that will bring the most smiles to peoples faces. Check it out and Comment.

Here are a few shots from Alka and Manish’s gorgeous wedding. We had a blast shooting this wedding at Red Rose Convention Centre. The decorations were beautiful and the bride was even more stunning. Manish was as usual looking cool and suave. Check out some of the pics below. One of my favs is at the end of the dolhi, Alka is in the Limo and the slight silhouette of Manish in the background – Mom and Alka exchange a very emotional look. Another one that was awesome is the shot in Unionville…you’ll see which one. Comment, link and tell us which one is your fav.

Thanks,

Amish
